THE FeurersTrip LINK IN THE INDEX WILL CHRONICAL THE JOURNEY. AND LOOK FOR PICTURES ON THIS PAGE OF HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE TRIP.

IF YOU HAVE SENT MATERIAL TO ME TO ADD TO THE FAMILY TREE, PLEASE BE PATIENT. I HAVE MANY NEW NAMES TO ADD AND IT WILL TAKE MUCH TIME TO COMPLETE.

Welcome to the Feurer genealogy page.

Feel free to explore these pages. There are several ways to browse through the names:

• Check out the calendar to see who was born, who died, or who got married on any date in the year.
• Use the name and marriage lists at the left to look for relatives or other individuals.
• Click on individual names to see more information about that name.
• When looking at an individual's information, click the "See Descendents" link to see a family tree starting with that person.
• Use individuals' information to browse though the generations by clicking successively on parent or children links.
• Click the "m" preceeding a spouse name to see more information about a marriage.

Also, check out the Auto Event Notfication feature at the left. You can have a reminder of any Feurer calendar event (birth, marriage, or death) in the database automatically sent to you by email. You can choose to send just one event, a selection of events, or all the events. And you can choose to have the notification sent to you up to 9 days before the actual date of the event to remind yourself to send birthday greetings, etc. Check it out!!!

I don't guarantee that everything entered is exactly correct, but your are invited to fix any errors or add any data you wish (see below). If you don't feel comfortable entering data yourself (I always have a backup in case you make a mistake) contact me and I can enter the information for you.

Any Feurer or descendent of a Feurer (or anyone) is invited to enter data into the database. Not everything is working perfectly, but please try entering data and let me know any problems you find. After you have entered data or edited existing data, note that the changes are reflected in the calendar, the descendents lists, etc.

To add or edit data click on the "Edit Feurer database" link at the left. You must log in first so that we can keep some integrety to the additions. This site is not secure and anyone can add bogus data. I hope all users will respect the open status and add only real data.

If you have information, photos, a (Feurer-related) Web page, or comments to share, please send email to Gary Alan Feurer at gary@feurers.com If you have a page with information about any member of the family, you may add a link to it from the appropriate information page.

Let me know of any features you think would be worth adding or modifying.

As you will notice, I can also use help with the design of these pages. Part of the problem is that I have not yet had time to work on the design. But I'm not very creative in that regard. If you would like to take the code for one of the pages, reformat and design it, and email it to me, I will certainly consider any suggestions.

I hope that this database will be able to link Feurers all over the world. If you understand German and would like to help out, I would like to have a German version of the text. I also have some documents in German that need to be translated. Please let me know at the email address above if you would be willing to help.
