CrashPlan Available
We have a limited number of CrashPlan licenses made available to us by Information Technologies (IT). CrashPlan, available for UD-owned computers, is back up software that stores your data encrypted on your computer’s local hard drive, before it is transferred to cloud storage. Only you and a few individuals within IT would have the key to restore data from the cloud.
You could access your files from the CrashPlan application on your local computer or from the University’s CrashPlan server via a browser. Two-factor authentication is required for local and web access.
Contact OET, if you are interested in running CrashPlan. Further information is available from IT and CrashPlan.
