Free texting services

Pinger – can only text one number at a time. You need to create an account (name@textfree.us).
Google Voice – would need to use your Google account

• SMS – use the SMS icon to add multiple recipients on an iPhone – phone number is reported to recipient
• SMS on iPad – only between other iOS devices
