We have found a solution for ERS users who might need tech support outside of normal OET hours. We need to open a support connection with ERS tech support one time using Firefox, and allow them remote access with our administrator credentials. Once they have been given remote access one time WebEx writes the files and permissions that it needs and does not require admin credentials again. So we will need each user to come to our office at 133 Willard and we will get them setup.
OET Support instructions
Open Firefox and go to
Fill in the contact form
Install and allow/remember WebEx add-on
The chat session should open up, request that whoever the support person is take remote control, at this point it will prompt for admin credentials, provide them and verify that they have remote control.
Once it’s verified you can exit the chat session and send the user on their way.
